About us

Liane Ellis is the principal agent of Ellis Real Estate (Pty) Ltd and has been in real estate since 2012. Prior to becoming a real estate agent she was a co-owner in retail businesses for 12 years,  worked for a well known life insurance company in internal audit, direct sales commission department,  finance department and business process analysis & development for 13 years, was a bookkeeper for attorneys  and small businesses for several years and acted as the Treasurer and Board Member of MLS (Multi Listing Services Gauteng North).

She attended an art & music school where she played the piano & clarinet. She subsequently sang in a gospel choir and group of gospel singers in the 80’s.

Liane is a mother of three, 2 in-law children and grandmother of 4 (3 girls and one boy), whom she loves dearly. She loves reading, gardening, long walks on the beach, photography, singing, visits to the Kruger Park, out-of-the-box thinking, good food and travelling, which she has done quite extensively. She has an insatiable quest for knowledge and loves studying, learning new things, writing, watching documentaries, medical discoveries, National Geographic & nature programmes, crime & drama, as well as art movies. She loves colour and associates everything in her life with specific colours (people, days, months, tasks, etc).

Liane is a perfectionist who believes if something is worth doing, it is worth doing well. She is very task orientated and dedicated to her work. She is fiercely protective of those entrusted to her and is always willing to give people the benefit of the doubt. Her clients love working with her.

Liane’s motto in life is “never give up” and with it comes a stubborn persistence to overcome obstacles, to push through difficult times, find new ways to do things and explore life. She sees herself as a hard worker, very positive and independent person with a love for life. She has an excellent sense of humour and is mostly upbeat. She has a habit of seeing the “funny” even in serious circumstances. Once she becomes your friend, she is a friend for life. 

In addition to being the principal of Ellis Real Estate (Pty) Ltd, Liane also assists companies with bookkeeping, executes deceased estates and is a business, life, mindfulness & NLP coach.

Deon Ellis has been in the property industry since 2014. Prior to becoming a real estate agent he was the owner of 4 retail businesses for 12 years,  worked for Civil Aviation and Airports Company SA (ACSA) as both client manager at OR Tambo  and Airport Manager in East London. He successfully oversaw a few big projects for ACSA as project manager.

Deon is an avid sports fan, with rugby and cricket being his favourites. Deon played school and club rugby in the 70’s. 

Deon is a father of three, 2 in-law children and grandfather of 4 (3 girls and one boy), whom he loves dearly. He loves long walks on the beach, photography, visits to the Kruger Park, good food and travelling, which he has done quite extensively. Deon loves watching National Geographic, nature and reality programmes, is a Bible scholar and closely follows American politics & important events. He enjoys socializing with family & friends.

Deon is very analytical, thinking things through, revisiting matters until he is satisfied, he has the right answer. He is assertive, a no-nonsense person and a driver by nature. He loves trading and negotiating is one of his strong suits.

Annamarie Skinner is one of Ellis Real Estate’s fully qualified, professional property specialists and a leader in our dynamic team of real estate agents, who lives by the motto “Love the life you live and live the life you love…” She partners with her husband, André Skinner. Their partnership has proved to be very successful & their combined knowledge of the industry as well as their “farming area”, together with their passion for clients and good work ethics has been a winning recipe for their successes and multiple awards in the industry. 

Annamari started her career in the property industry as a home loan consultant for one of the major banks in South Africa and expanded it to include the title of real estate agent. Her knowledge of the home loans market has proved to be a great asset in her career as real estate agent, being able to advise clients on loan requirements, etc.

In 2019 Annamari decided to be a multi-facetted agent, incorporating the two poles of her career. She became a real estate agent who also facilitates home loans for her clients and those of her colleagues. She derives great satisfaction from being able to find the perfect property best suited for each client and then being able to assist with their home loan as well. To Annamari you will never be just another client, you are HER client!

Annamari describes herself as hard working, dedicated, loyal, passionate, knowledgeable, innovating. She is a great asset to the Ellis Real Estate team.

Annamari is a loving mother to 2 young adult sons, whom she sees as her first priority. She was born with a love for sports, so being able to watch her boys’ rugby games is simply a bonus for her.

André Skinner is one of Ellis Real Estate’s property practitioners in our dynamic team of real estate agents, who lives by the motto “Just do it!” He partners with his wife, Annamari Skinner. Their partnership has proved to be very successful & their combined knowledge of the industry as well as their “farming area”, together with their passion for clients and good work ethics has been a winning recipe for their successes and multiple awards in the industry. 

André is a no nonsense, dedicated & loyal person, serious about business and honesty, who prefers not to waste time. A compassionate person, eager to assist others where needed, he is a “what-you-see-is-what-you-get” person. His contribution to the team of agents is invaluable, forming a vital part in their successes.

André studies for his degree in theology on a part time basis and has just completed his NQF6 pastoral counselling diploma.  His passion is to help people struggling with addictions.
